I read eight books in April, almost exclusively thrillers, and thrillers seem to eventually all blur together when you read enough of them. Reading them was a great way to relax my brain a bit while still getting used to being back at work, though.
If thrillers are your thing, then I’d say check out Mother May I as the best thriller I read this month, but if women’s fiction/historical fiction is more your speed, then you should pick up Millicent Glenn’s Last Wish by new author Tori Whitaker.
I’m also behind on writing and posting reviews, but I’m working on that, so keep an eye on my Instagram so you know when reviews are posted.
And, for Mother’s Day coming up in the United States in May, I created a new list of giftable books for the mother figure in your life. Check it out here.

I have a large stack of books (both physical and on my e-reader) sitting here that I’ve promised to read, so I’m going to continue to plug away this month. I’m going to work on being better at getting my reviews up more quickly, as well. As always, please subscribe to my newsletter — I only publish it once a month, so I promise you won’t be inundated with emails from me if you sign up.
